Gay pioneer Robert Carter, co-founder of NGLTF and Dignity, dies at 82

We’re a little late with this, but we’re sad to note the passing of Robert Carter (far r. in photo), the pioneering gay Catholic priest who helped found the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force in 1973.  Carter also helped found the New York chapter of gay Catholic group Dignity USA.  Carter was 82.
