Leave it to our favorite homophobe, Maggie Gallagher, to offer the dumbest reaction to a wise decision about equal rights.
Maryland’s attorney-general issued a statement this week that his state will recognize same-sex unions performed out-of-state.
The National Association for Marriage – which we like to call the National Association for Maggie — called it “an outrageous example of running roughshod over the rights of the people of Maryland in pursuit of a private political agenda.”
They’d have probably said the same thing about giving women the right to vote.
