We are, as Woody Allen called himself, “a landlocked Hebrew”.
But in spite of our aversion to water, we can see the appeal of a lesbian or gay cruise.
If that’s what floats your boat – sorry – The Toronto Star reports you’ve got more choices than ever.
“From a friendly mainstream cruise, an organized gay group on a mainstream cruise, a gay cruise organized by the cruise line itself, a mixed family cruise, or a full-on LGBT cruise organized by companies like Atlantis, RSVP and Olivia, which charter the whole ship,” there’s an unprecedented array of choices.
The Star also reports that “mainstream” (we hate that word) cruise companies are also offering gay trips.
“Variety Cruises is offering its first Greek Islands All Gay Cruise in August 2010, openly advertised on its website. Don’t assume there’s a lot of gay-specific programming on trips in this category.”
