You probably won’t see him marching in a feather boa next week, but Mayor Michael Bloomberg has ratcheted up his efforts to woo gay voters, reports the NY Daily News “Daily Politics” blog.
To launch “LGBT for Mike“, the Bloomberg campaign this week released a new Web video featuring Richard Socarides, attorney and former special assistant to President Clinton, and Florent Morellet (above), community activist and restaurateur, lauding the mayor while sitting on benches at the recently opened High Line park.
The campaign probably won’t interview the 30 gay and bi men falsely arrested in “prostitution” stings a few months ago in porn stores. Those arrests are under investigation.
